Ruchika Social Service Organisation, founded in 1985 by Inderjit Khurana in Bhubaneswar, pioneered India's 'platform schools' that take education to children living and working on railway platforms. Today it runs remedial education, childline support, rescue of trafficked and working children, and health services for slum communities across Odisha.

- 17533 children restored to families
