Hella Mundhra is the founder of Shishu Mandir [1], an Indian non-profit working on education, women & children and orphans & child care from Bengaluru.

Shishu Mandir is a secular, registered NGO founded in 1983 to provide free and holistic education to children from impoverished backgrounds in and around Bengaluru, with an emphasis on educating the girl child. Central to its work is a free English-medium school, alongside a children's home and childcare centre, adoption services, skills training and higher education support, and community development, green, women's empowerment and social welfare programmes.
