Ankeet Dave is the founder of Access Life Assistance Foundation (2014)[1], an Indian non-profit working on palliative & cancer care, orphans & child care and healthcare from Mumbai.

Ankeet Dave is an Indian non-profit administrator and a co-founder of the Access Life Assistance Foundation, a Mumbai-based charity established in 2014 that provides free accommodation and support to families of children undergoing cancer treatment. He is the organisation's executive director.

Career

Dave worked for around two decades in public relations and communications management before founding Access Life, with agencies including Hanmer MS&L and Vaishnavi Communications, handling clients in the media and entertainment sectors. That work brought him into contact with hospitals and non-governmental organisations.

In 2014 he and Girish Nair founded Access Life after observing families of children being treated for cancer in Mumbai sleeping outside hospital gates because they could not afford accommodation in the city. The organisation provides free housing, food, transport, nutrition and counselling for such families during treatment that can last months or years. By 2026 it operated more than a dozen centres across Indian cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Manipal, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Madurai, Silchar and Noida.[2][3][4]

Access Life Assistance Foundation

Access Life is a Section 8 non-profit founded in 2014 in Chembur, Mumbai, that gives underprivileged children undergoing cancer treatment and their families free accommodation, nutrition, hospital transport, counselling and non-formal education. Families from remote towns often spend 5-24 months in the city for treatment; Access Life's centres spare them footpaths and abandoned treatment, replicating its home-like model across Mumbai, Pune, Manipal, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Silchar and Noida.
