The Indraprastha Cancer Society & Research Centre, a not-for-profit society formed in 1994, runs the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in Delhi. Opened in 1996 with 152 beds, the institute has grown past 500 beds across its Rohini campus and Niti Bagh unit, treating patients from India and neighbouring countries while pursuing research into cancer's causes, prevention and cure.
