Meera Foundation is a small Dindigul nonprofit that creates educational programmes and provides learning resources in underprivileged areas of Tamil Nadu. Its recent work centres on tribal hamlets in the Kodaikanal hills, including Vazhaigiri village where children walk two kilometres to the nearest school, and it raises support for scholarships, girls' skill training and livelihoods for HIV-affected mothers.
