Inchara Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit founded in 2006 in Dakshina Kannada district and based in Mangalore, Karnataka, working on the protection of child rights and prevention of child sexual abuse. It trains children, parents and teachers to recognise and respond to abuse warning signs through school-based safety programmes and gender-sensitisation workshops, and runs Inchara Home For Children — the first dedicated support centre of its kind in Mangalore — providing shelter, education and counselling to survivors of child sexual abuse.
