Dignity Lifestyle Trust was set up in 2005 by social worker Dr. Sheilu Sreenivasan to establish retirement homes for senior citizens in India. It runs the Dignity Lifestyle Retirement Township near Mumbai, offering active, community-oriented living for older adults, alongside Garima Ghar, a subsidised facility for low-income elders, and a 24x7 assisted-living wing for residents with dementia. Services include in-house medical staff, therapy programmes, and social, cultural and spiritual activities designed around continued purpose and engagement in later life.
