Bahaar Foundation operates under Akshati Charitable Trust, an Indian charitable trust established in 2022 and affiliated with the GrowthStory family office. It designs hyperlocal, gender-sensitive livelihood programmes, most notably a Community Health Entrepreneur (CHE) model that trains rural women as 'Sehat Saathis' to deliver affordable primary and preventive healthcare in their own communities. Active projects include saturating tribal Jashpur block in Chhattisgarh with CHEs and upskilling Village Level Entrepreneurs into health entrepreneurs in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The stated long-term goal is 100,000 supported micro-entrepreneurs reaching a million families; these are forward-looking targets, not achieved results.
