Indus Action

Indus Action is a New Delhi-based nonprofit working on social protection for vulnerable populations in India, with a particular focus on informal workers. It builds interfaces and processes that help citizens access government welfare entitlements at critical moments of vulnerability, backed by its own research on household vulnerability, administrative burden in welfare systems, and the costs people bear while coping without support. The organisation received the Skoll Award for Social Innovation in 2026 for this work.
