Down Syndrome Federation of India is a Tamil Nadu-based nonprofit founded in 1984, registered under the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995. It offers occupational, behavioural, speech and physiotherapy, early-intervention programmes, health camps and family counselling for individuals with Down syndrome across its network of institutions.
Down Syndrome Federation of India (DSFI) reports the following, on its own site:
- Around 17 children and young adults with Down syndrome, along with their parents, attend the DSFI Centre in Chennai every Saturday for its Pre-Vocational Training Programme
