
Supraja Dharini is the founder of TREE Foundation[1], an Indian non-profit working on environment and animals from Chennai.

Founded by Dr. Supraja Dharini, TREE Foundation runs a community-based conservation programme for endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles nesting along the coasts of Chennai, Kancheepuram and Nellore, including a dedicated rescue and rehabilitation centre.
TREE Foundation reports the following, on its own site:
- 44,67,463 hatchlings released
- 944 turtles released
- 3,00,000 students participated
- 383 Sea Turtle Protection Force members
