Sanghamitra Bose is the founder of Sshrishti Trust (2003)[1], an Indian non-profit working on education and women & children from New Delhi.
Sshrishti Trust
Sshrishti began in 2003 when its founder, Sanghamitra Bose, started informally teaching an underprivileged child from a nearby slum at her own home in Delhi. That grew into daily informal education for 50 to 60 children, and the organisation has since expanded its work to digital literacy and skill training as well as women's empowerment. It has been recognised for its education and literacy work in Delhi.
Sshrishti Trust reports the following, on its own site:
- 200,000 reached through Digital Literacy programs
- 1,350,000 reached through Digital Inclusion of Rural Women
- 17,000 reached through Education programs
- 50,000 reached through Financial Literacy programs
