PRIA is a New Delhi-based global centre for participatory research and training, founded in 1982, that builds the capacities of citizens, communities and institutions toward vibrant, gender-equal societies. It works to empower citizens through information and mobilisation while sensitising government agencies to citizens' needs, in partnership with organisations including Oxfam and GIZ.
