Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust is a Chennai-based nonprofit established in 2003, providing lifelong refuge, special education, vocational training and community-based rehabilitation for abandoned children with intellectual disabilities. It operates as a recognised ward of the Government of India in partnership with Tamil Nadu's Department of Social Welfare.
Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust reports the following, on its own site:
- Over 410 abandoned children with intellectual disabilities cared for since 2003, of whom 109 were reunited with their families; 117 children currently live at the home
