The Mythic Society

Founded in 1909 and housed in the century-old Daly Memorial Hall on Nrupathunga Road, the Mythic Society is one of Bengaluru's oldest learned societies, counting Sir C. V. Raman and Sir M. Visvesvaraya among past associates. It maintains a heritage library and manuscript collection, publishes its Quarterly Journal continuously since 1909, and runs the Bengaluru Inscriptions 3D Digital Conservation Project to scan and rescue the city's ancient inscription stones.
