Basic Needs India works so that people living with mental illness have their essential needs met, their rights respected and their dignity protected within their own communities. Its community mental health and development model connects people to affordable care through government health systems, provides psycho-social support and caregiver education, links individuals to employment, and documents lived experience to influence policy.
