Prayasam

Prayasam works in the slums of Kolkata and beyond to organise and empower children and youth as proactive change agents, running programmes on child health monitoring, media literacy and skill-building that today reach roughly a million children.

Prayasam reports the following, on its own site:

• Across 5 Government Schools, we reach nearly 6,000 students and community members.
• Total Direct Reach: 12,000 people are directly impacted every year through our interventions.
