The Wildlife Protection Society of India was founded in 1994 by conservationist Belinda Wright to help government agencies fight poaching and the illegal wildlife trade, with a particular focus on tigers. Based in New Delhi, it provides investigative and intelligence support to law enforcement, funds anti-poaching camps and equipment for forest staff, and supports research into human-wildlife conflict.
