Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth runs the Art of Living's network of free schools for rural and tribal children — more than 1,300 schools across 22 states, together educating over a lakh children. Every child receives uniforms, books and a nutritious mid-day meal, girls make up nearly half the enrolment, and the curriculum blends academics with life skills, yoga and meditation.
