Universal Higher Education Trust (UHET) was established in 2012 under VIT founder and chancellor Dr G. Viswanathan, running its HEARTS project to help meritorious students from low-income families access undergraduate education through financial assistance, career guidance, and networking support. Its site details programs supporting first-generation learners and promoting girls' education, alongside skill-building and volunteer/internship opportunities.
