Infant India is an NGO founded in 2006 by Datta and Sandhya Bargaje — who left their careers to work alongside social activists Baba Amte and Prakash Amte — based in Pali, Beed district, Maharashtra. Its Anandwan housing programme shelters orphaned and abandoned children affected by HIV/AIDS, providing food, clothing, education and antiretroviral therapy (ART) and CD4 monitoring. Related programmes include Aadhar Mahila Ashram, supporting HIV-affected women, and Navjeevan, a rehabilitation project for married couples affected by HIV.
