The George Institute for Global Health India, established in 2007 with offices in New Delhi and Hyderabad, is an independent medical research organisation whose work reaches 21 states. Its 600-plus staff research cardiovascular health, injury and trauma, mental health, women's health and health systems, with an emphasis on turning evidence into treatments and policy for underserved populations; it is DSIR-certified and an ICMR-recognised trial centre.
