DATRI is a Chennai-based Section 8 nonprofit founded in 2009, building and maintaining a registry of blood stem cell donors to find matches for patients with blood cancer, aplastic anaemia, thalassemia and other severe blood disorders. Registered with the World Marrow Donor Association, it has enrolled over 660,000 donors and facilitated more than 1,800 stem-cell donations.
