Aruna Mithlesh Foundation, named for founder Jatin Lalit Singh's mother, grew out of a single community library he built in his home village of Bansa, Hardoi district, during the pandemic. Registered as a Section 8 company in 2024, it now runs 12 free community libraries serving villages across the district, with the flagship Bansa library alone reporting over 6,000 members, and is building a mobile library to reach more remote villages.
