Pehla Akshar takes education to children of migrant and nomadic families in Gurugram, including Banjara communities, who miss school because of frequent moves, missing documents and difficult admissions. It sets up local learning centres, running two nukkad pathshalas that have reached over 300 students with flexible, accessible teaching.
