Snehalata Srivastava is the founder & director of Mahila Arthik Sanskritik Evam Shaikshik Vikas Sansthan (1987)[1], an Indian non-profit working on women & children, livelihood and elderly from Varanasi.

Mahila Arthik Sanskritik Evam Shaikshik Vikas Sansthan

This Varanasi society combines women's livelihood work with care for the very young and the very old. Its projects include Nanhe Parindon Ki Pathshala for children's education, the Shri Shyam Old Age Home and a livelihood initiative that promotes income from crafts and entrepreneurship for women artisans. Health camps and awareness work in rural areas complete its programme.
