Sprint legend P T Usha's athletics school at Kinaloor near Kozhikode scouts young female athletes through open selection trials and trains them across track and field, from sprints and hurdles to jumps and throws. Its trainees have gone on to national and international competition, and a synthetic track built with the Sports Authority of India is nearing completion.
