Sadhana Institute for the Intellectually Challenged

Established in 1996 at Nacharam in Hyderabad, Sadhana runs a day-care and residential centre where children and adults with intellectual disabilities learn life skills for greater independence. The institute also operates an early intervention centre, a skill development centre for adolescents and adults, a rural centre in Nalgonda district and an old-age home.

About the Institute started with 2 students in 1996, today the Institute is serving 250 intellectually challenged persons.
Sadhana has completed a residential school project for the deaf at our Rural Centre where 42 poor deaf children were taught upto V class.
This project was started in the year 1999 at Tekulasomaram Village, Valigonda Mandal, Nalgonda Dist., At present there are 66 students
