Mr. S. Govind Swaminadhan is the founder trustee of Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG)[1], an Indian non-profit working on human rights and environment from Chennai.

Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG)

Founded on 7 October 1985 in Chennai as the Consumer Action Group, CAG works to protect citizens' rights in consumer and environmental issues and to promote transparency, accountability and participatory decision-making. Its work spans consumer protection, electricity governance, solid waste management, sustainable transportation and road safety, and it won the Government of India's National Award for Consumer Protection in 1989 and 1991.
