Mr. Ganapati Bhat is the founder & managing trustee of Manuvikasa[1], an Indian non-profit working on environment, rural & agriculture, women & children and livelihood from Sirsi.

Manuvikasa

Manuvikasa is a non-governmental, non-political voluntary organisation registered in 2003 and committed to the advancement of education, the environment and rural communities. Founded by Ganapati Bhat and based at Sirsi in Uttara Kannada, it works across the Uttara Kannada, Shivamogga, Haveri, Dharwad and Udupi districts of Karnataka on sustainable livelihoods, lake rejuvenation, women's empowerment through its Nari-Shakti programme, and village development.
