Mr. A. Aloysius is the founder of Social Awareness and Voluntary Education (SAVE) (1993)[1], an Indian non-profit working on women & children, human rights and education from Tiruppur.

Social Awareness and Voluntary Education (SAVE)

Founded by A. Aloysius in 1993 in Tiruppur, SAVE works to eliminate child labour and secure fair labour standards in the town's knitwear industry. Its units include a Child Rights Cell, a Women's Development Centre, a Labour Resource Centre and vocational training, together pushing for Child Labour Free Zones across the garment belt.
