Lilly Chunkapura is the founder of TREDA (Treatment Rehabilitation and Education of Drug Abuse) (1993)[1], an Indian non-profit working on de-addiction from Bengaluru.
TREDA (Treatment Rehabilitation and Education of Drug Abuse)
TREDA provides de-addiction and residential rehabilitation, counselling and training for people affected by alcohol and drug addiction, with a focus on uneducated and financially vulnerable people in rural and urban Karnataka. It was founded on 17 August 1993 by Sister Lilly Chunkapura MMS and reports having supported over 5 lakh families with a 95% sobriety rate through its treatment programmes.
