Lala Lajpat Rai is the founder of Servants of the People Society (1921)[1], an Indian non-profit working on education and human rights from New Delhi.
Servants of the People Society
Servants of the People Society (Lok Sevak Mandal) was founded in 1921 at Lahore by Lala Lajpat Rai and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, to enlist and train volunteers for the educational, cultural, social, economic and political advancement of the country. It relocated to Delhi after Partition and continues to run branches, including one in Chandigarh, focused on social work and education.
