Gaj Singh is the founder of Indian Head Injury Foundation (2007)[1], an Indian non-profit working on healthcare, disability and road safety & civic from New Delhi.
Indian Head Injury Foundation
The Indian Head Injury Foundation works on head injury in India, from prevention through to long-term recovery. Based in Sunder Nagar, New Delhi, its work covers prevention of road traffic accidents, post-crash management training, comprehensive neuro-rehabilitation, assistive technology and a peer mentoring initiative, delivered through the Yuvraj Shivraj Singh Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Jodhpur and its own physiotherapy and neuro-rehabilitation centres in Delhi, Patna and Noida.
Indian Head Injury Foundation reports the following, on its own site:
- 1 Lakh first responders trained to save lives
- 50 Thousand supervised rehab sessions annually
- 5 Lakh+ persons educated on road safety
- 3 Lakh+ ISI marked helmets donated
