Dr D S Poonia is the founder of Mindroot Foundation [1], an Indian non-profit working on mental health from Jaipur.

Mindroot Foundation works to make mental health understood and supported across Rajasthan from its base in Jaipur. Led by Dr D. S. Poonia, it runs awareness programmes for students and rural communities, including chaupal-style village outreach, and hosts clinical internships that give psychology and social work students real casework experience.
