INHERE is a grassroots, community-driven organisation working on agriculture, environment and climate change, health and education, livelihoods and rural development, and water and sanitation for Himalayan communities from its base in Almora, Uttarakhand.

INHERE (Institute of Himalayan Environmental Research and Education) reports the following, on its own site:

84 village-level meetings held across 20 villages in 3 Uttarakhand districts (Almora, Chamoli, Bageshwar) in 2023-24, reaching 741 farmers (432 men, 309 women)
