Founded in 1953 by the Medical Mission Sisters under Mother (Dr.) Anna Dengel, with its foundation stone laid by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Holy Family Hospital on Okhla Road is a 345-bed charitable multi-specialty hospital run by the New Delhi Holy Family Hospital Society under the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese. The NABH-accredited non-profit institution serves all communities with subsidised care, community outreach programmes, a nursing college and renal transplant services.
