Founder

Anita Aneja is the founder and founder members of ETASHA Society (2006)[1], an Indian non-profit working on livelihood, education and women & children from New Delhi.

Anita Aneja is one of the founder members of ETASHA Society, a Delhi-based non-governmental organisation that provides vocational training, career guidance and life-skills education to young people, adolescents and women from low-income communities. She sits on the organisation's governing council.

Career

ETASHA — an acronym for Enabling and Training Adolescents for a Successful and Healthy Adulthood — was established in January 2006 by Dr Meenakshi Nayar, who is its founder president. ETASHA's own website lists Anita Aneja as one of four founder members on its governing council, alongside Ritu Motwani, Pramod Patni and Dr Usha Jumani.

The organisation trains young people for entry-level roles in sales and marketing, engineering and manufacturing, information technology, customer service, operations and logistics, and human resources, and runs separate programmes for adolescents, women and communities.

She is listed among ETASHA's trustees and managing committee members. The society is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and is based in Greater Kailash Enclave 2, New Delhi.[2][3][4][5]

ETASHA Society

ETASHA Society has worked since 2006 with youth, adolescents, women and the people who influence them in Delhi's low-income neighbourhoods, building the skills, confidence and mindset that modern workplaces demand. It runs placement-linked skill training for young people, entrepreneurship development for women, and education and career guidance in schools serving adolescents from these communities.
