Shaheed Hospital was built in 1983 by the iron ore mine workers of Dalli Rajhara under the leadership of trade union leader Shankar Guha Niyogi. It provides low-cost, rational primary and secondary health care to rural populations of central India and runs community health clinics and health worker training. The hospital is located in Balod district, Chhattisgarh.
