Duncan Hospital is a 200-bed mission hospital in Raxaul, on the Bihar-Nepal border, founded in 1930 by Scottish surgeon Dr. Cecil Duncan and now run as a unit of the Emmanuel Hospital Association. It provides emergency, surgical, obstetric and gynaecological, paediatric, dental, radiology, laboratory and ICU/NICU services to a largely poor and marginalised population on both sides of the border. It also trains nurses through an attached nursing college.
