Vipul Sangoi is the co-founder of Kalpavriksh (1979)[1], an Indian non-profit working on environment from Pune.
Kalpavriksh
Kalpavriksh is a nonprofit working on environmental and social issues at local, national and global levels, founded in 1979. It works on alternatives to mainstream development, urban green spaces, conservation and livelihoods, and environmental education, and runs the Vikalp Sangam platform documenting alternative, sustainable ways of meeting human needs.
Kalpavriksh reports the following, on its own site:
- Eastern Nagaland CCA Assembly brought together over 570 participants from 50 villages at Choklangan village, November 2024
- Nagaland Community Conserved Area Forum meet brought together 150 delegates from 26 Community Conserved Areas, government officials and NGOs in 2024-25
