UPAY (Under Privileged Advancement by Youth) was founded in 2010 by Varun Shrivastava, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, along with fellow engineers, to educate underprivileged and street children. Headquartered in Nagpur, it now runs centres in several Indian cities including Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, and Kolkata, with programs such as Footpathshaala and Reach & Teach covering education, health and sanitation awareness, and vocational skills.
