Special Friends
Special Friends works in Hyderabad to help children with diverse abilities join and stay in mainstream school environments. Since 2013 it has offered free care, counselling, tutoring and mentoring to these children, along with broader work on building inclusive, accessible communities. Its approach recognises that the barriers disabled children face are often social and economic as much as medical.
