Sampark works with vulnerable women and migrant construction workers in and around Bengaluru, building women-owned self-help institutions, running early-childhood creches, sustainable waste-management programmes and a Back to School campaign for underprivileged children.
Sampark reports the following, on its own site:
- 104,968 rural women supported through SHGs and co-operatives
- 300,000 migrant workers supported
- 67,744 migrant children improved their health, education and nutritional status
- 6,366 migrant children mainstreamed to government school
