Smita Kelton Shah is the founder of Jaya Organic Yojana^[1], an Indian non-profit working on rural & agriculture, environment and tribal welfare from Bengaluru.

Jaya Organic Yojana

Jaya Organic Yojana (JOY) is a registered trust promoting sustainable and regenerative farming since 2014, working with the Siddi tribal community in Karnataka's Western Ghats and marginalised farmers in Jharkhand's Ranchi district. It trains smallholder farmers, primarily women, to restore soil fertility through vermiculture and organic fertiliser production.
