S. Ramakrishnan is the founder president of Amar Seva Sangam (1981)[1], an Indian non-profit working on disability, healthcare and education from Ayikudy.
Amar Seva Sangam
Amar Seva Sangam was founded in 1981 at Ayikudy in southern Tamil Nadu by S. Ramakrishnan, a person with spinal cord injury, and is run alongside promoter S. Sankara Raman. It works to empower persons with disabilities through institute-based and village-based rehabilitation, early intervention for young children, education, vocational training, sports and self-employment support.
Amar Seva Sangam reports the following, on its own site:

- 5,656 children receiving early intervention (below age 6)
- 6,376 service users above age 6 in vocational training and PMRC
- 627 self-help groups for differently abled people
