Chanakya Jan Utthan Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2013 and based near Goverdhan Mandir in Doiwala, Uttarakhand, working to support deprived, exploited and neglected sections of society. It runs skill-development, women-empowerment and educational programmes, including vocational training and scholarship distribution, aimed at the all-round personality development of children and youth in the Dehradun region. It is a distinct, locally-registered organisation from similarly named 'Chanakya Foundation' entities operating in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
Chanakya Jan Utthan Foundation reports the following, on its own site:
- Approximately 450 people trained annually through tailoring, embroidery, beauty parlour, mobile repair and skill development centres, with the foundation's training programs benefiting approximately 2,000 people in the community
