Perungattur P. Rajagopal is the co-founder of Kattaikkuttu Sangam (1990)[1], an Indian non-profit working on arts & culture and education from Kanchipuram.
Kattaikkuttu Sangam
Founded in 1990 by actor-playwright Perungattur P. Rajagopal with seventeen rural actors and musicians, the Kattaikkuttu Sangam promotes the Tamil theatre form Kattaikkuttu. From its Kuttu Kalai Kudam performing arts centre at Punjarasantankal village near Kanchipuram it ran a residential gurukulam for rural children for 18 years and continues training, festivals and performances.
Kattaikkuttu Sangam reports the following, on its own site:
