Pankaj Suman Jain is the founder of Gyan Shala[1], an Indian non-profit working on education from Ahmedabad.

Gyan Shala designs a structured, low-cost classroom model that brings learning outcomes comparable to good private schools to children in slums and low-income neighbourhoods. Based in Ahmedabad, it trains local young women as teachers using scripted daily lesson plans, and partners with state governments and other NGOs to run or replicate its programme.
Gyan Shala reports the following, on its own site:
- 23,912 children reached across 1,014 classes in Ahmedabad, Surat, Patna, Bihar Sharif, Muzaffarpur, Lucknow and Farrukhabad in 2021-22
