Founder of The Lepra India Trust

Navin Chawla is the founder of The Lepra India Trust (1999)[1], an Indian non-profit working on disability and education from Delhi.

The Lepra India Trust

The Lepra India Trust runs programmes for hearing-impaired children and youth from disadvantaged communities in and around Delhi. Its work centres on improving their overall quality of life, widening their educational options, including vocational courses, and helping them integrate socially. The trust is a distinct entity from other, unrelated organisations that have previously used similarly named domains.

The Lepra India Trust reports the following, on its own site:

  • Over 40 students are enrolled in our educational initiatives and another 40 in our vocational courses
